Our mission is to provide exceptional tuition, at an affordable price, to local families
How we're different
Top quality secondary school tuition
There are many tutors and tutoring agencies in Surrey for younger school years (up to age 12). There is a lack of top quality support for local students studying at secondary school and for UCAS applications. We are keen local students have the same support as students in central London to ensure they have the same opportunities. We aim to be that support for local families.
Our leading tutor is an internationally acclaimed tutor and teaches all of our courses. We demand similar experience of all our other tutors. Tuition with professionals of their experience would cost between £3,000-£4,000 per subject across the year. Our revision courses cost between £100-£599 depending on the duration and provide year-long support.
"We looked and looked for a local tutor who could help with GCSEs and A-Levels. Our LearnSmart tutor was the only person we found with enough experience at both levels and now I don't know what we'd do without them!'
- Helen, parent from Wimbledon
We always provide unlimited aftercare & support
It is our job to help students succeed. To succeed and continually build confidence throughout the year, students need continued support. We are the only private tuition company who provides unlimited aftercare right up to exams or university application submission. This aftercare is available to both students and parents, there is no question too small!
"We seem to be contacting LearnSmart on a daily basis and they are always quick to respond. To have the support and advice 24/7 means that I'm not worried any more."
- Christine, parent from Hindhead
We prioritise child welfare & safety
Every child is different which makes teaching them such an enjoyable experience. We know how much it can limit a child during their education if they are forced to conform rather than making the most of their skills and competencies.
All of our tutors are trained in flexibility to be the tutor the child needs at the time, not be stuck in their teaching ways. We also require all tutors to have the following additional qualifications to ensure the safety and welfare of every child we support:
DBS Checked (advanced)
SEN Accreditation (Special Educational Needs)
First Aid Trained
Coming this year, we will all also be fully trained in mental health support.
We love giving back
We believe giving back is an integral part of growing our business. Here are some of the things we do to help the local community. If you have any ideas of other ways we can help, do get in touch.
Working with the local community
We work twice weekly with vulnerable young people in the local area to help them achieve their ambitions. This includes helping children with difficult backgrounds achieve qualifications and careers they aspire to.
